My achievements and awards have also been widely recognized in the media. One such feature is by Baltimore Game Changers, a platform that highlights individuals and organizations making a positive impact.
Baltimore Game Changers aims to shift perceptions by showcasing change-makers in Baltimore, inspiring others to take meaningful action in their communities. I was selected from hundreds of nominees for my pro bono work in brain health, particularly focusing on the Black community and senior citizens. Given that Baltimore has the highest Alzheimer’s rate in the U.S., this work is both timely and essential.

Each of these awards highlights my ongoing efforts in advancing medical care, advocating for better health policies, and supporting the most vulnerable in society.
WINNER: TV STATION/PROGRAM OF THE YEAR FOR PROMOTING HEALTH IN AFRICA 2021
In addition to hosting an award-winning TV show that is Africa’s most watched program on health, Dr. Ajibade has engaged in hundreds of interviews and speaking engagements over the past 15 years that deal with memory and the brain. This history provides him with the experience and knowledge base that is required to educate millions of Americans, including individuals and healthcare professionals alike, on the state of dementia in the black community.
Dr. Ajibade has realized numerous professional achievements, including the 2021 Impact Africa Summit Awards – Best TV Health Show.
Award of Excellence: Icon of Humanitarian Service & Champion of Healthcare Innovation
In 2025, I was honored to be recognized by the National Association of Northern Nigerian Students (NANNS) with the awards of “Icon of Humanitarian Service” and “A Champion of Healthcare Innovation.” This recognition means a great deal to me as it reflects the vision and mission of the Brain and Body Foundation—to transform healthcare through innovation, education, and compassion, especially for underserved communities.
Though I was unavoidably absent, Ms. Peculiar Obiukwu (Head of Admin, BBF), proudly received these awards on my behalf. I am grateful for this honor and remain inspired to continue serving humanity through healthcare and innovation.
Made in Nigeria Excellence Awards 2025
In recognition of my contributions to the health sector, I was honored at the 3rd Edition of the Made in Nigeria Excellence Awards 2025 for my exceptional work through Brain and Body Solutions Ltd in supporting individuals with life-threatening conditions. The award was presented on my behalf to Dr. Sunday Ogundele, a Professor at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital.
Most Respected CEO in Nigeria Award 2023
In recognition of my contributions to the health sector, I was honored with the Most Respected CEO in Nigeria Award. This prestigious accolade celebrates my leadership, charitable initiatives, and unwavering support for children with life-threatening conditions.
My dedicated Brain and Body Foundation team—Peculiar Obiukwu (Office Manager), Godson Pankyes-Longjel (Head of Clinic), and Hajara Suleiman (Programmes Officer)—proudly represented me at the Award ceremony. Our Management Accountant, Patrick Itah, received the award on my behalf, reaffirming our commitment to humanitarian impact and in Nigeria.

National Outstanding Leadership Award
In 2024, I was honored with the National Outstanding Leadership Award from the Northern Youth Peace Ambassadors (NYPA). This recognition highlights my commitment as the Founder/CEO of Brain and Body Foundation to transforming lives through leadership, humanitarian development, and peacebuilding.
This award acknowledges my dedication to navigating Nigeria’s communities and making a meaningful impact on the nation at large.
Due to my absence, Mr. Patrick Itah, BBF’s Management Accountant, received the award on my behalf.
